Vacancy Details
IOCL is recruiting for three categories of Apprentices:
- Trade Apprentice: 80 posts
- Technician Apprentice: 95 posts
- Graduate Apprentice: 300 posts
State-wise allocation of vacancies is as follows:
- Tamil Nadu & Puducherry: 120 posts
- Karnataka: 50 posts
- Kerala: 115 posts
- Andhra Pradesh: 95 posts
- Telangana: 95 posts
Stipend and Location
The stipend for selected candidates will be as per IOCL norms. Job locations are spread across Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, and Telangana.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualifications vary according to the apprentice category:
- Trade Apprentice: ITI in the relevant trade
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering discipline
- Graduate Apprentice: Degree or Graduation in the relevant field
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 24 years as of 31 August 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD (UR): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
There is no application fee for this recruitment.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the candidate’s qualifying examination scores, followed by document verification.
